Those Mets are making some big moves like Billy Wagner and Carlos Delgado. Should us Braves fans worry at all. I thought Billy Wagner was for the Braves. :mf_surrender:

You mean kind of like they signed Carlos Beltran and Pedro Martinez last year? I think at this point no matter what happens you have to believe in Bobby Cox until proven otherwise.

Now that Chipper Jones has restructured his contract and deferred some money, the Braves may be in a position to go out and land a free agent or two.

The Braves are gonna be hurtin' without Mazzone... The Mets are just Yankees Lite. Look nice on paper, might even make the playoffs, but that should be about it.

i dont think that freed up money will sign much. they have alot of young players that will need their contracts beefed up and they want furcal back along with giles so they wont get much.

i get what your saying by what happend last year and i forgot that carlos beltran sucked in shea stadium so maybe delgado will do the same, billy wagner could be the best trade this off-season or he could be the worse, it just depends if he doesn't have a braden looper type season

Never has anyone made more money from two or three weeks of work than Carlos Beltran. What a bust.

I want to know why the Braves do so well all year and then get to the playoffs and choke? It's like that every year now! :banghead:

Billy Wagner is for who can give him the most money. :bad: The Mets are "paper champions" every year. The Braves will be ok if they keep Furcal and get a good closer. I'm a little puzzled by the hiring of Roger McDowell as pitching coach. You would think they would promote somebody in their own system. :dunno:
