Five days and two scrimmages into fall ball, the Vol baseball coaching staff is stressing the little things and looking to ingrain the Tennessee way into their 21 newcomers.

I think this team comes out vastly improved. By vastly improved I mean top ten in the conference. I know I know, being the 8th-10th best team in the SEC isn't where we wanna be. But being in that category still means you're in the top 25-35 nationally. Again, not were many including Serrano wanna be.....but I think this will be the first glimpse of where this program is truly heading. Then next year, we come out totally badass. That's just how I see it. Have a great morning and day folks....be safe out there.

Vols will be competitive at the plate and in the field. It still comes down to PITCHING. The pitching must be vastly improved for this team to be an NCAA qualifier.

Anyone watch the scrimmages?

How are the new guys looking. Hear the freshman are pretty athletic and some of the JUCO arms may make an impact.
