TUCSON, Ariz. — Oregon St. (14-1) is ranked No. 1 for the first time this season in Collegiate Baseball’s NCAA Division I poll presented by Big League Chew bubble gum.

Texas Christian, ranked No. 1 the previous four polls, slipped to third after losing two of three at U.C. Irvine over the past weekend.

Oregon St., winners of nine straight, has a microscopic 1.20 team ERA after 15 games as the pitching staff has struck out 127 batters while only walking 30.
