Baseball Senior Day

I am assuming the Belmont game will be Senior Day for a few of our boys. Does anyone have information on the schedule of events. I would like to be there in time to support them. Thanks.

I went to “senior day” on a midweek game last year expecting a celebration and was very surprised that I did not see anything done for the seniors. Unless I missed it, but we got there early.

I heard CTV on the radio last week say for tomorrow’s game they’ll recognize seniors and Covid seniors. He didn’t provide any other details.

If I remember right, I think they were recognized during the weekend series last year. Don't hold me to that though.

Interesting, does anybody know if they held any senior day recognition in this past Georgia series then? We were only there on Thursday.

Last year they didn’t do the on-field presentations and all that due to Covid rules of outsiders being on the field, etc. It was scheduled for the Sunday game of the Arkansas series. Plus, the seniors decided against it anyway so to not take away from the focus on the game.

That all makes sense, and I could see the seniors making that decision based on the circumstances with the final SEC series being against Arkansas last year. I like to take my boys to senior days to send off our graduates, and will plan accordingly in the future. Thanks for the info!

And they’ll present Luc with his AARP card.

He’ll be wearing the daddy hat, the coat, and he’ll have his cane. Straight Pimpin’!

In all seriousness, these seniors have been through a lot in their time and they’ve earned a special moment, I respect whatever decision they make because I know one thing for certain, this team is already one of the most beloved teams in Vols history and they’ll be celebrated as such. If they wanna keep their eyes on the prize, good on ‘em.
