The Southeastern Conference released its 2009 Preseason Baseball Coaches' Poll Monday, and Tennessee was picked to finish fifth in the SEC Eastern Division. The league's skippers selected LSU to win the regular-season Western Division title and overall conference crown, while Georgia was tabbed as the top club in the Eastern Division.

It always seems like the SEC coaches get it wrong when it comes to this preseason voting. LSU who made the CWS last year and won the SEC tourney was picked near the bottom of the SEC West. I think we'll finish in the top 8 in the SEC and make it to Hoover. SEbaseball.com has us finishing 3rd in the East.

5th place in the East...ouch! Seriously?
A lot of things can change through out the year.......injuries and pitching depth can definitely change a season. Go BaseVols!!!!

The league seems to be very strong. Anything could happen this year.

Its very competive. Avoid getting swept over the weekend series and try not to burn up too much of the pitching during on the tuesday and wednesday games.
Hitting wise Im not worried, its the bullpen that worries me the most.
