Baseball Vols Sweep Alabama!!!

Baseball Vols sweep a 3 game weekend series against Alabama to improve to 5-4 in the SEC. Vols have won 8 of their last 10.

Only the 2nd sweep of Alabama in school history.

1st SEC home series sweep since LSU in 2008.

Not only was the third time the charm for the Vols to win a division series, they produce the best result a sweep.

In 2 of the 3 games the Crimson Tide blew a lead. I know it's against a very unimpressive Crimson Tide but this is going to give the team confidence.
They don't have to keep waiting another week to win a division series.

Mid week game vs. Memphis, and then it's on the road to take on #9 South Carolina, gonna be tough.

I remember the 94 series when we crushed Alabama in Tuscaloosa. Tons of fans their. That 94 team was likely our best. Bama had bad facilities, no fans, bad team and was slow to catch on that SEC was beginning to take baseball seriously at that time.
