I don't know what happened before that. Was he defending himself or did he go on the offensive first? If he was defending himself from the Antifa idiots I don't blame him.

Watching some other videos it was clear the leftists attacked first. If the Berkeley PD did their jobs instead of just chilling this may have been avoided. Since they didn't the people took their defense into their own hands.

This guy is in some serious trouble. Hitting people in the head with sticks in front of the cops is probably not a good idea..... under the circumstances.... funny...... but not smart.

Yeah. The guy who showed up at several protests with shield and stick was probably just happening to defend himself at every single one.
