I know it's early and the Iona series really padded the numbers, but it's looking like we have a complete team.

Iona needs to get out there and slay some ass. They just needed some southern seasoning. That’s what a team that hasn’t been practicing looks like. Hopefully they’ll come around and compete moving into their conference schedule.

This is a really really good team, once Tidwell and Halvorsen return, the rotation and bullpen will be one of the best in the nation, if not the BEST. Further, I think that our defense will be really good behind our hurlers, there were some slick fielding this weekend with a wet ball - I believe that we committed one error.

Now let's get to where it's fun - hitting - from Luc, Trey, Beck, Gilbert and Russell a dinger is just a pitch away! All of the players have shown a lot of discipline at the plate, turning in quality at bats (I know Iona wasn't good) each game.

We have a lot to look forward to this season, a trip back to Omaha is certainly very possible.

I have a newfound soft spot for Iona baseball. I’ll be keeping up with them this season.

What’s Luc hitting against lefties so far? Would love to see him improve in that area this season. Would really help his pro prospects.
