I’m just curious as to why you would say that? Do you mean getting them early is to our advantage? Why? Are they going to improve and TN isn’t?

Much of this has been stated already, but here goes. UF is very good. They have dudes. We have dudes.

I also said we’ll probably see them again. It was a compliment to them, historically, of course, but also I’ve watched them over the years. I know Sully will figure it out as the season goes on.

I try to watch as much college baseball as I can and I’ve watched them a few times this year, not as much of LSU, so I can’t compare them but it’s the same story.

In the end, both those teams will be there. We could hit the freshman wall, so it’s better to see em now rather than later, but now we know we can hang. Confidence is a boost that’s not gonna show up in the box score.

If you've paid attention to Florida last 5 or 6 years, which i don't expect since it's Florida, but they have begun the season ranked top 5, if not #1, and tanked the early part of the year...badly, only to then for us to look up during the World Series and lo and behold...Florida is in the damn finals or winning it. One thing I'll say about that SoB coach of theirs, is that he gets them to improve throughout the year and doesn't let early season failures define them.
