With all the excitement surrounding Coach Pearl and Vols there needs to be a post game call-in show started immediately! The Knoxville sports station could start it immediately and it could be picked up by the Vol network next season statewide. This does not require the coach, that is asking a lot, but just a moderated call-in to keep the excitement going after the game. Currently, you hear the player of the game, coach and that's it...a few minutes after the game ends to whole thing shuts down.

Without commiting treason, Listen to the Kentucky games sometime...the talk goes on and the excitement (or this year the depression) builds. Great for basketball, great for Vol basketball!

Does anyone know how to email the Vol Network and the Sports Animal (in Knoxville)..let's start a email campaign to get it on the air.

I agree. I think it would be a good idea.

That sounds like a great idea.

It would certainly add to the hype and excitement surrounding Knoxville these days.

Back during the Green era, WNOX had a postgame call-in show named "Basketball Finals" that came on immediately after the VolNetwork signed off. John Wilkerson and/or Brent Hubbs hosted and Al Brown was on several times as the analyst. Didn't last but maybe 30 minutes or so. Never seemed like they had much activity (callers), so probably had a hard time selling it to advertisers. May have only been on the AM, too. Always used to listen driving back to Ooltewah.

Always thought a local postgame call-in show would work, too. May be time to strike while the iron is hottest.

I listened to the UK call in show on my way home from Lexington the other night and was thinking the same thing...I would love to be able to hear immediate discussion of the UT games...GO VOLS
