Okay, let's address this item by item:
"he lived off O'Neills talent and left the cupboard bare for Buzz"
Here is the roster for 2000-01. The only players remaining that were recruited by O'Neill were Tony Harris, Del Baker, Charles Hathaway, and Isiah Victor. Buzz promptly booted Harris Walker and Terrance Woods. Woods I might add went on to be one of the leading scorers and 3-point shooters in the NCAA playing for Florida A&M. Included in Green's recruits are NBA players Vincent Yarbrough and Marcus Haislip. Both btw played High School in Tennessee. He also recruited Ron Slay... another Tennessee resident.

"Green was such a great coach why did the top talent and the great coaching that Green have lose to a less talented North Carolina team and why did he not win the Championship when he clearly had the more talented team?"
Why do any teams lose? Upsets happen. And to lose to North Carolina is not a shamefull loss. UNC made the Final 4. Remember, there is only 1 team left at the end of the season that does not end the season with a loss.
"Why did he fail in the recruitment of Tennessee high school players?"
See the above roster showing top Tennessee talent in Yarbrough and Slay to name a few. Both were recruited by the top NCAA schools but came to UT to play for Green.
" will tell you this if Buzz had had Greens talent he WOULD have won an NCAA Championship"
Excuse me, Buzz had 2 future NBA players plus Ron Slay his first season and still lost more games than he won.
"Do any of you realize that the image of UT basketball when Buzz took over was worse than when Houston left."
I'm not one for revisionist history, but that is saying alot that the image of UT basketball was as bad as when Wade Houston was there. To the best of my recollection, the Vols were coming off 4 straight NCAA tournaments, 4 straight 20+ win seasons, a few in Knoxville didn't like Green 'cause he did not "stroke their egos" and thought they could bring in a better coach and go to the Final Four. Wade Houston's teams could not win period. If Allen Houston had not been on his teams, they would have been worse... if that is possible. So here we are 3 seasons later and no Final 4.... not even an NCAA invite.
I'm not trying to pick a squabble, but come on let the facts speak for themselves.
