I searched for a thread before posting, but is anyone else attending the Men's Battle for Atlantis tourney this Thanksgiving? Looking for some help with tournament passes and information.

Our issue is that we’ve rented a group of villas in a gated community and they are only selling passes for people staying at the atlantis. Wanted to see if anyone was staying there and would help tonarrange adding passes that we could reimbursez

I went about 8 years ago when Tennessee was there with Cuonzo, was an awesome experience. I’m sure they’ve changed some things but at that time you could walk up and by tickets to other games if you wanted to, not sure if that’s still the case. Was hoping to go this year but the COVID restrictions/rules weren’t something I was interested in dealing with.

I was thinking about going but didn't even consider this. What restrictions are you referring to? Do the Bahamas still have heavy restrictions?

I haven’t looked recently, I know a few months back they were very strict still on mask mandates, vaccines, boosters etc.

I’m in Europe right now. No one has asked for proof of vac, only place masks have been required have been on public transit (bus & trains, not airplanes). I’d say it’s pretty much become a nonissue traveling now

Definitely trending that way, like I said it was a few months ago I had looked at it…obviously every country is different though. I know some folks who were recently on a cruise in the Bahamas and they said they were pretty strict about masks and entry/no entry being vaccinated/boostered, just wasn’t something I was interested in dealing with while in a foreign country.

I'm in the same boat. I'm pretty sure everything I've booked is refundable if it turns out that I cannot get game tickets. I'd obviously have to make that call before getting on the plane.
