Here it is folks! We get to see just how bad the Missouri defense is.

Who’s worse? Vanderbilt inept offense? Missouri’s porous defense of possibly historic FBS level proportions?

It’s here folks: the Stoppable Force versus the Movable Object! Who will win?

Play ball!

Vandy already with close to 150 yds rushing and not halfway through the 2nd quarter. Maybe the defensive line coach wasn’t the only problem for coach dumbwitz.

It’s the entire defense and it’s bad. It’s been the case all year. The team even gave up 300 yards rushing to an FCS team.

They could be allowed to use shotguns, opposing offense rushing plays could be banned under penalty of incarceration, and teams could announce their next offensive play over the stadium intercoms every play…and Missouri would still somehow give up 8 yards a carry.

Half the vandie defense surrounded Misery receiver in end zone & he STILL caught as time elapsed.

Get? They always have been terrible. Garbage program. It should be embarrassing to ever lose to them

Wouldn’t entirely call them that. They had a really good run from 2003 or 2007 through 2014.

But this is just bad defensively on all ends. Defensive coaches, scheme, play calling…player personnel. It’s everything that can be wrong…like the perfect storm of terrible.

Vanderbilt scores again and now their RB tops 140 yards. Team now has 243 total yards rushing. 24-21 Missouri at the end of the 3rd.

Missouri almost scored again before committing a holding penalty…and then another holding penalty immediately afterwards.

Yes a bit of hyperbole, but the East was also very down when they went to back to back SEC championship games back in the day

It’s not Vandy RB with 140 yards, it’s their QB. Most of it game in 2 runs.

Mizzou commits pass interference on 4th and 7. Vandy’s chances are slim, but they’re technically still there.
