The Spartans are out of the Big Ten Championship race, but there's still an opportunity for a Rose Bowl bid (although the way OSU-UM is going, the potential of a New Year's 6 Bowl might be more realistic). This series is currently tied 17-17-1. Penn State has won the last 2 meetings and 3 out of the last 5.

I don’t know what it is about Penn State, but we’ve always played badly against them. No reason we should’ve lost in 2006 to them.
