The Boilermakers have the opportunity to do something hilarious (they most likely won’t, mind you).

While a spot in the Big 10 Championship is no longer on the table after Penn State’s win over Maryland, a win by Indiana would almost certainly grant them a spot in the CFP first round.

Purdue won last year’s matchup 35-31 victory in a very back and forth game that was decided by a 10 yard TD run by an injured QB with 2 minutes left in the game, in a game that Indiana led for all but the last 2 minutes. The Boilermakers go into this on a 4 game winning streak in the rivalry series, though it’s hard to see that continuing as a 1-10 team.

The winner gets to take home the Old Oaken Bucket and add another letter.

This game was 28-0 at halftime.

Purdue had 5 turnovers.

They scored the last TD to make it 66-0 with only 1:48 left in the game.

Good lord: Purdue only had 67 yards of total offense at the end of the game.

This is one of the worst beat downs of a Power 4 school I've ever seen.

Indiana ran a fake punt when they were already up 38-0!

(I edited the video's link so that it goes straight to the fake punt when you click the play button.)

(If you end up deciding to watch the whole video, Purdue only has 3 offensive plays in the highlights...and they're all lost fumbles.)
