They have some actual football teams on deck in the next few weeks. We'll see what happens.

They have literally played nobody. That's why nobody takes them seriously. When you're playing against some of the worst defenses in the country, you can rack up points. Congrats. Posers yet again.

The defensive stats of teams they play are skewed... because they have to play Baylor. WVU was ranked 20th in total defense with ESPN prior to playing Baylor, they are now ranked 53rd.

How are they posers "again"?

11-2 last year

Well, actually B2B 11-2 seasons and showing no signs that this is their ceiling. Through six games Seth Russell has the exact total yards of offense that Robert Griffin had in his Heisman season. The only difference is that Seth is a better runner, scored more rushing and passing TDs and played significantly less downs than Griffin.

Robert Griffin 2011:
1,950 Passing, 295 Rushing, 2,245 Total, 142/182 Passing %, 22 Passing TDs, 2 Rushing TDs, 24 Total TDs

Seth Russell 2015 Stats:
1,907 Passing, 338 Rushing, 2,245 Total, 103/163 Passing %, 27 Passing TDs, 5 Rushing TDs, 32 Total TDs

WVU faced GA Southern, Liberty & Maryland before the B12 schedule started. WVU has a very average defense, but a relatively powerful offense with a good rushing attack. If you thought they were a good defense then you are setting yourself up for major disappointment.

Q: What was Texas A&M's OOC schedule last year?

I'll save you the Google search time: EXACTLY the same as Baylor this year.

Where was all the Aggie scheduling outrage in 2014?

^ in response to that they had a strong SOS so it didn't really matter. btw the ncaa does not factor in "records of FCS teams, FBS Transitional teams, and bowl games" in their SOS rankings.

top SOS ranking for the 2014 season

1. Arkansas – 103-54, 65.61%
2. Virginia – 102-54, 65.38%
3. Tennessee – 101-54, 65.16%
4. Notre Dame – 103-56, 64.78%
5. Texas A&M – 100-55, 64.52%

baylors 2015 preseason SOS ranking

88. Baylor – 75-76, 49.67%

We all know what's going to happen here. Baylor is going to play somebody that can actually get to the QB and run the ball, they'll screw up once or twice, win ten games, and get beat in their bowl game against a good opponent like always. It's cute, but they are not a serious national championship contender.

enjoy the mud bath fellow texas fam :)

All American Airlines flights into D/FW were cancelled earlier today. Hunker down.

I-45 is shut down through Corsicana. TXDOT shows every highway and county road going out of Corsicana flooded. They got 13+ inches of rain.
