Baylor Averages 725 Yards Per Game

My wife is Baylor grad.

Sitting at a 2005 44-0 (don't quote me on exact score, they were all this bad) home drubbing to Texas A&M, I turned to her & said, "You did this to me. You made me care about Baylor football!"

Well, roll the years ahead & what do you think she said to me as we sat at Florida a couple weeks ago watching the Vols lose by one?

Yup. Exact same words.

She had sat through the OK game two weeks earlier.

I had it coming.

The problem for Baylor defense is that the offense scores so quickly. Over 725 yards & 70 points per game, yet low 20's time of possession.

D simply gets worn out.

They've played the 117th, 121st, 123rd, 124th ranked defenses and a FCS team... There are 128 teams in FBS.

Bennett's D is based on turnovers and 3 & outs. Drives me nuts but it works for eleven wins per year.
