Congrats...

Fortunately for Mizzou, an overrated Cal team will probably be their toughest non-conference opponent this season (unless Nova picks it up).

It is quite possible that with their schedule, Mizzou could enter the matchup on February 4 without having faced a real test (I am not sold on Baylor nor A&M) and lose by twenty (if Taylor gets his head out of his ass).

Mizzou has raised some eye brows around the state. It's a shame that they lost Lawrence Bowers for the season because their size will catch up to them. Steve Moore played very well against Cal. Looking forward to see them compete against the rest of the Big 12. I think it is up for grabs.

OR maybe Mizzou will win and Tyshawn will slump at half court and cry just like last night. What a joke! Its November!!!!

When I saw Steve Moore a couple of weeks ago, I had to do a double take and confirm it was the same guy as last year. That guy lost a lot of lbs.

Ratcliffe has the chance to make up for Bowers loss. I guess 'chance' is the key word.

54 Regular Season Conference Championships
5 National Championships

Let me know when Mizzou gets 15 Conference Championships (sucks that what would have been their 15th in 1994 was vacated...) and gets to their first Final Four.

Maybe passion is what Mizzou needs (plus talent and coaching, of course).

Passion? What are you talking about mizzou needs passion!? As far as coaching, mizzou looks way more impressive under haith than they did anderson. Yes, we know KU is historically better at basketball. But the thing is that's history... in the past. All that matters is this year, and this year it looks like both teams should be good. At this point, you can't say one team looks better than the other.

Now tell us about Kansas football. Or do you fill that void with Tennessee football?

Lou Perkins emphatically announced that KU does not care about football when Mangino was fired for being "mean".

I care about KU football; KU football sucks, though. I am not going to act like KU football can compete in their conference let alone a better conference.

Edit: Did this tacit insult come from someone who supports the Astros, the Pacers, the Titans, and the Vols? I am sure there is a story there somewhere; I just don't care to hear it.

I'm not bragging about accomplishments that required sitting on my ass and watching. I also cheer for one team in every sport.

And no, my insult came from you constantly acting like a dick and saying dumb crap. Your political views are on par with people who wear tin foil hats. Nobody cares about your views on that stuff but you continually spew your garbage anyways. Probably because nobody in person will listen to your crap so you have to force it on people who flat out tell you that you're stupid.

KU should never had been able to go to the orange bowl. They took advantage of a mizzou loss in the conference championship. This is one of the reasons (not the main reason) that mizzou is leaving and could care less about KU when they will be competing in the Mountain West in 6 years after the Big 12 collapses.

Same thing happened to UT following the 2001 sec championship game

The polls are very...short term memory.

I bookmarked that link a couple days ago. I read it everyday now. It reenforces my hatred for everything ks. As if I needed reenforcing.

Just spent thanksgiving with my wife's side of the family in central Kansas. Very depressing place. I thank God every time we go there that I live somewhere with trees, hills and people.
