I'm not sure who's going to beat Florida during the regular season if USC can't do it. Maybe UGA.

It hurts to say that.

We still have 3 potential losses left on our schedule.

Who? Even though UGA won last year, you never bet against UF in this game. Spurrier has a knack of beating his former team, but if they get through USC it's going to be smooth sailing to Atlanta.

Please don't say FSU.

Why not say FSU? It is a rivalry game and they have the talent to beat anyone in the country. Plus, UF hasn't exactly been lighting people up. I hope the Gators take them as lightly as you do.

If they make it through that...Alabama

Eh, Spurrier really hasn't had a knack for beating UF unless you consider a 3-4 record a "knack".

2 of those USC wins came the past 2 years while we've been down.

We still have several tough games ahead with 3 more ranked teams just in the regular season.

Our SOS is the only reason we're #2 in the first place.

We're only #3 and #4 in the human polls; but the computers use SOS as part of their fomulas, and 2 wins against ranked teams and 3 SEC road wins gives us the #1 ranking in the computers.

I just hope the players stay hungry and ignore that nonsense.

No way we need to be ranked there. Hope the players don't read all the stories about them. We still look anemic in the passing department, and we need to play better early.

No way to avoid being ranked there. Of the undefeated teams, we have had the best looking schedule.

Until or unless they start awarding victories for most passing yards instead of most points, I'm not really concerned about the passing game.

A balanced offense is great, but most coaches say run it until they stop you... if they don't ever stop you, don't stop rushing.

Much safer to keep the ball on the ground anyway. Sooner or later we'll need to be able to throw more, and I'm confident Driskel will do fine.

Driskel only went 8-12 for 61 yards with 0 TD's and 0 INT's, which gave him a 109.37 passer rating against LSU.

Shaw went 19-34 for 177 yards with 2 TD's and 2 INT's, which gave him a 107.26 passer rating against LSU.

Spurrier and Shaw opened it up more, and not only ended up with a lower passer rating, but an L to go with it.
