I was listening to a couple of guys on the radio this morning. They were sure Oklahoma would be #1. I thought they were nuts, and apparently I was right. How do I go about applying to replace them? I am a CFB nut and I actually know what I am talking about.

We play 4 of the top 14 with this crew and it just started. I sure wish we could fast forward to next year with this stretch of games.

USC w/o Lattimore isn't the 14th best team in the country. We've got a good shot against them if we come out and play well.

This the third time LSU has been at the top of the BCS standings and the first time since 2007. That's fourth-most among SEC schools, behind Florida (seven), Alabama (six) and Tennessee (five). Auburn also has been No. 1 three times.

I did not know Tennessee has been number 1 in BCS that many times.

Well it was more we had a 5 week stretch at the end of 1998 where we were number 1

lol no way anyone can argue that LSU is not the number 1 BCS team. They've blown out everyone they've played and beaten #10 and #15 OOC .

BSU stands to gain the most. They just have to win out pretty. Two of the four above them will knock themself out.

moves them to #3 then they have to look for LSU or Bama / Ok or OKS to lose a game late to move into the prize spot. Even after those 4 play and they move up I think one of the two will lose another one by end of year allowing a move to the top. The SEC and to some extent Big X are more difficult to run the tables on versus the MWC.

One loss lsu or bama still tops Boise. The sec champ will have to be two loss and ou osu winner will need a l.

I dunno. With all the pub BSU has got the past few years being the bridesmaid and never the bride, I wouldnt be suprised if the voters gave them an extra nod. We all know what the SEC is like year in and out but the voters might be tired of us being in the NC game as we've been in 4 of the past 5. At some point people want the underdog to win.

Only some voters might, and I'd say it's only likely in the one major human poll not counted in the BCS. Plus I have a very difficult time seeing the computers putting Boise top 2.

I'm praying they'll lose to some no name like they did with Nevada so they'll fade into obscurity for the remainder of the year. I just dont want to hear the endless chatter over poor, poor BSU.
