1. LSU
2. Alabama
3. Arkansas
4. Oklahoma State
5. Virginia Tech
6. Stanford
7. Boise State
8. Houston
9. Oklahoma
10. Oregon
11. Kansas State
12. South Carolina
13. Georgia
14. Michigan State
15. Michigan
16. Wisconsin

18. Baylor
19. Penn State
20. TCU
21. Nebraska
22. Notre Dame
23. Georgia Tech
24. Auburn
25. Texas

A few notes:

-Texas received one vote in the USA Today poll. They're ranked in this, though. The BCS never fails to amuse.
-Wisconsin's computer average? 24th. Texas? 20th.
-No real surprises, but I don't agree with VT > Stanford.

the texas thing - they did the same thing with Baylor a week or two ago, they were ranked 25th in the bcs but only had 4 votes between the two polls

Three weeks in a row, actually. Auburn had no votes in the Coaches Poll but was ranked 24th.

texas btw has 10 human votes total: 9 votes in the Harris Poll, 1 in the USA Today Coaches Poll

Here, it was 2 weeks ago Baylor was ranked 25th in the BCS and had 4 total votes: 1 in the Harris Poll, 3 in the Coaches Poll

Hey, 5 of the teams that have beat the Vols are in the top 13 of this poll. No disputing the Vols have had a tough schedule this season.

Oregon loses to LSU and a very good USC team; Oklahoma loses to Baylor and Texas Tech.... OU is ranked higher.

Makes perfect sense, as always.

problem is USC doesn't count period in the computer poll rankings, even in usage just for factoring reasons

Looks like it could very well be a Bama/LSU rematch for all the marbles.

If it is, I'll have a free day of not watching bowl games. Probably be many more that I won't watch, either. My bowl viewing has gone downhill the past 5-6 years.

Does anyone else realize that if they do not get rid of this BCS system there may never be another National Champion other than a SEC team. We had to stack them up #1, #2, and #3 to ensure a good game instead of a SEC blowout....

The fuse is lit on the powder keg the BCS now sits upon.

This could be the death of the BCS. In no way is a rematch fair. LSU has to play 1 more game while Bama would be able to rest and get an extra week or prep time. Sham if it happens!

It's absolutely unfair, and any system that allows it should be abolished.

That said, I'm praying that it happens.

Does the BCS mandate that conferences with 12+ teams must have a conference championship game?

If bama & lsu were in different divisions and rematched for seccg no one would care. Why is the nc different?

Because they would both be playing an extra game now?

As it stands, LSU will have to play one more game than Bama before they play for the NCG.

All Bama has to do is beat Auburn. LSU has to play Arky and probably Georgia.

I'm not disagreeing with the premise, but ^this is not really the fault of the BCS. The BCS doesn't decide which conferences play a championship game and which don't. If LSU and Bama were in the Big 12 or Big East, there'd be a rematch without the conference title game in between.

The better argument is that every conference ought to have to play a championship game, or none should.

The number of games played by teams in the NC game are never even, the Big 10 and Pac-12 didn't start playing an conference championship game until this year.
