Our players are the ones giving the effort. I posted mainly because pric*s would start bashing players.....Not that you would bash players or the team. Fill me in Honey, on how I can post with effort and giving a sh&6.

Season's been a roller coaster. I'm still a Butch believer, but man, would I like some like quicker production. SCAR was nice. All we need is to win two out of the next three. Being home for Vandy gives us a much needed advantage in that game. I don't care what you think about that statement. Two out of three and we've made a bowl. We will beat whoever we are matched against from the ACC (Music City) or a Conf. USA or AAC team in Memphis or Birmingham. Also, flip out on this statement if you want...First year taking over the program and four out of your twelve opponents this season will be in the top 10. Also, three other of your opponents this season will be ranked in the top 20. Over 50% of our schedule was ranked in the top #20 this season. To make a bowl game in year one with mostly inherited and recently enrolled, young talent will be huuuuuuuuuuuuuuge...Oh yeah, and forgot to mention your starting qb will be injured with 3 1/2 games left in the season.

Well our options are, be patient, or choose a more successful team to pull for because we ain't winning no championship anytime soon. Here is what we have, like it or not, upper class men with experience but not much in speed, talent or will to win..and freshmen with some speed, talent and no experience. It's gonna take time, we can all agree we don't wanna wait, but it is what it is, probly won't be a whole lot better next year. You just don't jump out of a hole as deep as we are in, you have to climb out a step at a time. There, reality we can all agree on.

We've been playing a top 5 schedule for yrs. So stop with this excuse. Dooley had only Sims, Bray and Nash his 1st year and all new on campus which is no where close to what CBJ had to work with.

CBJ was suppose to be a magic maker with talent he inherited. So he needs to start earning the 3 mil a year he is making every year. Not saying he can't but the "top staff in the country" needs to start getting it done...ASAP!!

What talent did he inherit? a middle LB that doesn't have the speed to play in the SEC? DE's that couldn't contain a middle school team from getting on the edge? DB's that gets burnt more than toast? a big bad OLine that gets manhandled? all the great upper class WR's? A 6'8 350lb DT that plays like a teddy bear?

I don't know what talent everyone thinks we have. I must be watching a different game because I see a very slow defense and a very young offense at the skill position.

If we get to 6 wins it is a successful season.

I will say this I am very disappointed with the effort and the game plan but what killed us on defense was not getting off the field on 3rd downs, we got out of our rush lanes and let the QB beat us with his feet, we did a much better job against SC who has a better QB.

I am disappointed with our effort on the road, for some reason we don't play good on the road but we are a different team at home so we will see as I still believe we get to 6 wins.

True fans don't want to be competive. They just accept whatever pile of crap is put on the field and blast anyone who dares expect anything better from the team.

sure we have been hearing it...except the difference is that this is a different coach...HE IS NOT DOOLEY 2.0...he can actually coach...look at his previous stops...once he gets his system implemented with some of his players he wins...a lot...

WRONG!!! True fans understand the game of football and realize we have played the 3rd toughest schedule in the Nation and played 3 TOP TEN TEAMS ON THE ROAD...INCLUDING THE TOP 2 IN THE NATION...with players who after our 1st teamers and including some of our 1st teamers are not really SEC caliber...we beat a ranked opponent for the first time in 4 years and in CBJs 1st year...something Dools couldn't do with same, if not better teams in 3 years...if you can't see the work that CBJ is doing in recruiting, NO 1 CLASS right now, or you choose to ignore that...then your just a class A douche...
