Devin Hester ran a 4.29 and was shifty as all get out. He's also 5'10/5'11 185-190. Just because we sign a return specialist does not mean he is in the mold of one of the greatest returners of all time. It's easy to make small competition look bad, Hester does it in the NFL.
Just out of idle curiosity, how many stars does he have now?
He's a Dooley recruit, so he has the norm, before the upward adjustment that is coming later.

I'd hate for him to offer this kid with all the 5* running backs knocking at the door to play here right now.
I hate we keep turning away all that 5* talent, just to sign those dang 3* and 4* guys nobody wants.

Yep. We don't deserve either a proven coach or a 5* player.
We should be happy that anyone is willing to wear the orange.
I understand your penchant for breeding mediocrity.
Not impressed at all. :disappointed:
I'm obviously not a scout, but I just don't see what makes him special. May be a great kid, but he doesn't look big, fast, or strong.
And that's against TN high school competition. He's not playing against great players.
So what is your great plan after the 5 star players turn us down? Should we just cross our arms and say " If we can't have 5 stars we don't want any players!" We are rebuilding. Sometimes you can't pick and choose. If we get back on top we should be able to a little easier.
