and a radio/tv/sports personality making money selling a product is bad (or even news)? I suppose there are "real consequences" to this like there were with him selling gold?

The inflation of apple seeds will send me into foreclosure.

He can sell what he wants.

But it seems no coincidence that a scam built on irrational fear is ballyhooed on his particular program.

I'd be curious to know what his cut is on this. And how many people have actually bought.

What difference does it make? Its not like Obamacare, you have an option to buy.

it's capitalism and lefties hate that. He should be forced to give the seeds away equally to all Americans

Do you receive a "race card" if you do not add instructions and details on soil prep, and seed planting depth?

Or do you just take food from those able to produce and give to those that decide not to tend?

I take it one of LG's New Year's resolutions didn't involve seeking professional help for his unhealthy obsession with Glenn Beck/Sarah Palin/Fox News.

growing your own food is far cheaper than buying it at the supermarket. hell i grow vegetables on my patio of my apartment.

Not at the prices they are charging for those seeds !!

They literally make them sound like he got them from the same guy that sold Jack his bean stalk beans.

i fail to see how this is any different than any other survival package. my wifes best friend has a bunker and 50 pounds of dried food. i think it's a little strange, but it's her money.

After browsing through the website, I have to say that LG has a point as to their "striking fear into people" with their Survival Seeds for when the "grocery store shelves are bare". Plus you even get a waterproof seed bank so you can bury them in the back yard for up to 20 years.

The pitch is fairly ridiculous, but Beck will take and cash his check, I have no issue at all with his endorsing it. You direct your product at a target audience in order to sell it most effectively, no?

Think of it as cheap apocalypse insurance. Really, I think this is a neat product. There's a lot worse ways to blow 20 bucks or whatever it costs.

It's not as bad as those "office parachutes that some people were selling after 9/11 to be able to parachute out of buildings with if they were struck by terrorists.

Yeah, but it's $150 + $15 s&h.

As to the office parachutes, I bought 3. Even though I work outside, on the ground. Can never be too safe.

It's $150, plus $15 shipping. For seeds worth from what I read about $40, tops.

Its not that there is anything illegal or even morally wrong about what they are doing. It is just unfortunate that the guy who claims to be looking out for everyone, including his audience, is involved so squarely in their obvious fleecing.

LG, you are picking and choosing info. You greatly underestimate the value of the watertight box in which to bury said seeds in your yard.

Thank God you're here to tell all of us poor, stupid, racist, teabagging right-wingers that there are potential financial hazards when dealing with capitalism.

I mean, wow...who knew???
