Lady Vol basketball not progressing with some real weaknesses in the post and point guard as has been discussed in-ad-finitum by members of the board this year. The two super stars can not carry this team to wins against good teams that has been proven time and again this year. They may reach the Sweet 16 if the right matchups come along in the 1st two rounds of the tourney.

The softball team is looking up and I believe the freshman pitcher (Pickens ) is for real .The hitting /offense seems to be improved also. With two good pitchers and some timely hitting this team may be headed to World Series again....at least I hope so.

Visited my 103 year old Mom and saw her thru some oral surgery which she has ( so far ) rehabbed in great shape.....there is always concern because of her age .

Anyway, here's hoping/wishing all Lady Vols the best as we head into March and April.Glad to be back home in Northern Virginia.

I’m so happy that you are able to spend time w your mother, @ AlexVol. As someone who lost their mother at age 41, it makes me happy to hear and read stories such as this. We don’t know at the time l, but it’s easy to take life, and one another, for granted. Welcome back!

It's ad infinitum.

I gather Darby is taking the brunt of the board's ire after the loss. Has anyone noticed that in her almost 28 minutes on the court the team was only -1? I don't think her play killed us but we sure could have used her shooting 10 3s and making 5 of them.

Horston really did not shoot well and I suspect that she may have been trying too hard. I really saw a ton of effort from her on both ends of the court, but fifty percent of her drives need to end with a kickout to a shooter like Darby, Striplin, Puckett, or Pissott.

I wish your mom all the best. The Lady Vols have the team to upset some of the top 25. Their problem is they lack the ability to sustain good play, can be a turnover machine, their in game corrections tend to be ineffective and they make questionable substitutions. Sadly, they really need a third consistent offensive weapon. Generally, if Horston, or Jackson have a bad night we are sunk. I know that Dorby is a good shooter, but she is not a shot creator. I really believe Pucket and Piscott have offensive potential.

103? Wow. That’s great. Glad you could see her. My mom is almost 91 now and going strong

That is the reason I moved from ATL to Pigeon Forge
Dad 91, Mom 84,,still living in their house and going strong...they just needed help maintaining the home to be able to continue living in their home...a small sacrifice for the ones who raised me ;o)

Darby, Puckett and Pissott replaced those three
