the Friday recap. 1. The SEC is a mess. Florida is a legitimate contender to repeat. The rest of the teams to receive bids may not survive the first weekend. 2. Kevin Kruger is now officially my favorite player in America. As fundamentally sound and smart player as you will ever see. 3. The worst basketball job in the country, South Florida, came open today. If a coach wins there, they should be immediately inducted into the Hall of Fame. 4. BYU is pretty good. With the right draw, they could get to the Elite Eight. 5. There must be something about Mountain West dance squads. After the absolutely stunning performance of the Rebel Girls last night, the Colorado State squad gave a performance that would cost $13.95 to view as an in room entertainment feature. 6. I may have to rethink my position on Sidney Lowe. He has done a really, really good job with a marginally talented team. 7. Oklahoma State is apparently starting their third season. If someone figures that team out, please enlighten me. 8. Hofbrauhaus Las Vegas is really an interesting place. If you're in Sin City, give it a try. 9. How much fun do you think it is to be working in the SID offices at LSU right now? One coach losing his mind and another auditioning for Where The Boys Aren't #21. 10. Georgetown-Pitt will be very interesting tomorrow night. Depending on other results, the winner could end up with a #1 or the top #2 seed.

My hope would be the SEC teams are playing on a little higher level as does our football teams, and pull out several wins.Thats my best hope/scenario I can come up with.
