Are we seeing the beginning of the end for Obama?

Let's look at what is going on and then connect the dots.

First, his popularity is dropping like a 2 ton rock from 10,000 feet. His approval percentage is at 42%.

The U-6 unemployment rate is over 10% and population's participation rate in the job market is the lowest in our nation's history at just over 63%.

The economy is loosing whatever steam it had and is only going to grow at a 2.2% rate.

Obama said that the private sector was doing fine and rambled on for about an hour using old cliches and old rhetoric, that had the leftists base complaining that they had heard this speech 100 times before from him.

Obama tried to throw a "Hail Mary" last week with his announcement of the Dream Act via Executive Order. Hs approval rating, again dropped like a rock.

We are seeing his opponent, Mitt Romney ahead of him in Minnesota, Michigan, and Wisconsin-all Democrat strangleholds in the past.

The rest of the country is about to see and hear about "Fast and Furious", which he is covering up via issuing executive privilege to Attorney General, Eric Holder. Whatever he is covering up must be much worse than the risk of cover up.

Russian strongman Vladimir Putin, blew Obama off at the recent G20 summit and told others that Obama is weak and ineffective.

Obama rambled on and on at the G20 summit and sounded confused and ambling.

We are waiting on the Supreme Court to uphold the Arizona immigration law that Obama protested to the Supreme Court.

We are awaiting the Supreme Court's ruling on ObamaCare, which is expected to be struck down. ObamaCare is Obama's signature piece of his only term.

When you add all of these together, you see a man who only 4 years ago, had stupid people fainting at the mention of his name and had the energy of of Hercules.. Now, we see an ordinary politician who is desperate to hold on and not be swirled around the drain like the tidy bowl man.

How long before the leftist media turns on him so not to poison Hillary and her 2016 campaign?

Feel better now?

Plenty of people drew up a similar litany of complaints regarding Bush in 2004. Was that the end of him?

The UE rate wasn't at 8.2% and rising either. The Stock market was doing well and everbodys houses were giant piggy banks. Now it's the exact opposite

That seemed like a very objective summation of the situation.

Assuming that is that you are a partisan hack.

I think I remember analysts saying the economy was doing better than expected in the early part of the year from the warm winter. I guess a mediocre summer would be expected after taht.

way too early to call anything. I think it's safe to say that Team Obama thought they'd be in better shape than they are now but Obama still has the inside track

I think both had more optimism than they should.

I am going to make a prediction: turnout will be surprisingly low.

A crudely simplistic model, but it's held up three times now: whenever gas prices approach $4/gallon, it chokes off whatever momentum the economy is starting to show.

He beat the Clinton machine in the primary.

Hillary does not = Bill by a long shot to most people. While Clinton is seriously the greatest politician of all time (not the same as greatest president), I'd rank Obama right up there if he pulled this off. One thing about that laundry list is, most of those points are very glaring. Yes, they tried downplaying the economy the entire time Bush was in office, but the problem was in the areas they were poo pooing it, it was actually really strong. It was too bad no one of any salt in the media paid any attention to the aneurism ready to blow that was the housing market. But do you really think a Democratic candidate would ever run on the platform of restricting loans to the people?
