Sources through wsbtv are reporting UGA Prez asked for and received Evans's resignation..

Thank you kindly for your response.. It may not have anything to do with our Tennessee football but this has been discussed & I thought it might be informative and interesting to those that had spoken of this previously...

Oh yeah, more info..

According to the police report, Evans told the state trooper: "I am not trying to bribe you, but I am the Athletic Director of the University of Georgia."

If this were some one from UT it would be smeared from A-Z.. cut me some slack, jack.. :mf_surrender:

I don't think it will happen. People can blog their wants all day, but until some actual news reports come out, it carries as much weight as a website saying "49ers fans want to trade for Dwight Freeney"

The difference here is that whatever happens in Georgia, always leaves Georgia, much faster than in Vegas where it "stays" a little longer.

He said she'd just taken drawers off and he was holding them for her? LOL LOL anyone else smell a pile of crapola? Also told the officer, "Can't I just go to a motel? instead of going to jail or get off with just a warning?" hahahahaha DH heard some of the lurid details on local news.. too darn funny.. all the way from Athens to Roswell, maybe he thought no one would recognize him.. IDIOT!!!!!!!!

How right you are about it being a bad ending, but something he brought upon his self.. Like DH & I were talking, we don't know what was going on behind closed doors at his home but the look on his wife's face at the news conference, ohhhhh it was like she was going to do a Lorena Bobbitt on him.. bet he's scared about closing his eyes to sleep around her..
So many people hurt because of his stupid actions..
