Interesting comment (especially the last sentence).

Here is the quote:
"If you do certain things, he's going to do certain things. If you do other things, he's going to do other things. He's going to run the plays that are good plays against what you're doing. Runs, passes, schemes -- whatever they are, that's what makes him a great, great, great quarterback. ... Situationally, red area, third down, he sees a new look that he thinks he can take advantage of. There's nobody better than he is."

And the link to espn article the quote is from:
2013 NFL playoffs -- Bill Belichick of New England Patriots unhappy with Wes Welker's hit on Aqib Talib - ESPN Boston

No joke. One of the Patriots, Edelman I believe, did the exact same thing to one of the Bronco receivers

The coverage that play is getting today is ridiculous. To say that Aqib being taken out is the reason the Patriots lost is asinine. I think it was a factor but not the reason they lost and it's kind of a disservice to what the Broncos did. Just my :twocents:

It's gonna be interesting to see how Peyton handles Seattle 's big, fast, and aggressive defense. Peyton & co will devise an effective plan of attack….he is the GOAT, after all. After watching the 'hawks, I would like to see the Vols play D like 'em !

When Peyton loses in the playoffs, it's because he's a choke artist. When Brady loses in the playoffs, it's because of a supposed "dirty hit" that Welker put on Talib. Glad to see the media continue to carry the pale for Brady while simultaneously finding a way to keep from giving Peyton his due. Sad.

Quiet right! The Broncos played lights out on both sides of the ball in a great team effort. Peyton threw for 400+ with no sacks. The Broncos CBs made it a long day for brady & co. :good!:

Lucky the score wasn't closer or we'd be getting some outrageous conspiracy theories...Manning picks that defense ,that was receiving some serious praise, completely apart...and the D turned Blount into another SI curse...what's the story of the game...a shot to the ribs is "the worst I've ever seen" from the coach who inspired the NFL to actually enforce pass interference rules after a championship game that had Marcus Pollard yanked to the ground in the middle of the field, while a pass was still on the way...and no call...the Pats haven't been the same since their spy cameras were put in the principal's desk :aggressive:

those words probably have a little more meaning. He doesn't say much, so to be so complimentary says something about the depth of what he believes.

If nothing else it always looks better to lose to someone you can legitamatly praise like that. I mean, if Terrelle Pryor had just gone 74% for 400yds on you...

I think Pryor did come close to those numbers against Pittsburgh this year.

What goes around comes around. Note Belicheat said nothing about how Denver had to play without Von Miller and Chris Harris. If Del Rio would stop calling the silly prevent D crap in the 4th quarter this one would have been a blow out. But glad he acknowledged the greatness of PM that we all know. Right Heisman Club?

It Is Ludicrous To Think Welker Would Be Used As A HitMan On Talib.Especially Considering Welker Was Out Weeks With A Concussion.Unless Talib Was Running His Mouth Like Sherman Then It Was Game On :D

So wait would this make him a Game Manager type QB??? If so, how could that make him the GOAT...huh something to ponder cause a "Game Manager" style QB can not be a true QB is what I understand from some around these parts. Smh
