If you read the postgame reports, I try to name a player of the game. Even though I've missed 3-4 games this year, I still try and watch the games, and look at the box score to have an idea who was the best player and wrote it down. Here was the tally for the first 15 games.

For the 29 games this season, here are the totals:

Jordan McRae: 9
Jarnell Stokes: 8
Trae Golden: 7
Josh Richardson: 3
Armani Moore: 1
Kenny Hall: 1

This is great evidence of why I think, if the SEC considers McRae as player of the year we Stokes needs to be in the top 5 as well. I think as a conference player of the year, typically you need to head and shoulders above your teammates, OR if the teammates are good enough to keep up with you they need to be in the running as well....

I think he should be first team all SEC taking Noel spot if he wasn't already in it. I can't think of a post player with better numbers maybe the guy from Ole Miss. Trae will be second team all SEC.

O'Bryant deserves one of the post positions on 1st or 2nd team, I think. He and Stokes are pretty close numbers-wise. I would probably choose Stokes above him though.
