As reported by Matt Mosley on ESPN

As we mentioned earlier, Redskins coach Mike Shanahan and general manager Bruce Allen have done a superb job of keeping everyone in the dark about the No. 4 pick. For weeks, everyone assumed Oklahoma State left tackle Russell Okung would be the Skins' choice. But in recent days, Oklahoma left tackle Trent Williams has become the favorite of mock draft specialists.

Now, former Tennessee safety Eric Berry, believed to be headed to the Chiefs at No. 5, is starting to get some burn in Washington. Jason Reid of The Washington Post said he thinks there's a "60 percent" chance the Skins will take Berry. But he sort of hedges his bet by saying the Redskins have too many other holes to fill. I think Shanahan and Allen have thoroughly confused everyone, which was probably their intention.

And I love the irony of Vinny Cerrato suggesting the Redskins should select an offensive lineman with the No. 4 pick. I can hear Skins fans yelling a collective, "Then why didn't you do it, Vinny?"

Check out our man Cerrato's podcast about what goes into preparing for a draft.

Redskins would be the best bet for him. The offense will improve with Donovan at the helm, and the pass coverage will be great with EB playing along side Landry

As a Cowboys fan, I definitely don't want him to be drafted by the Skins! Hopefully they will pass on him and he will go to the Chiefs.

I may just be clinging to false hope, but I am super hopeful Berry ends up in Tampa Bay. But I highly doubt the Bucs have the ability to draft talent over need. McCoy is overrated in my opinion.

I hope he goes to the Redskins. Would feel terrible if he had to spend his career playing for the Chiefs...

As a Redskins fan I really hope they pick him...the D hasn't been the same since Sean Taylor died....Landry needs someone else back there with him

So you guys that hate the Skins would rather Eric go play for a team like the Chiefs who will likely never have a chance at accomplishing anything more than getting to a wildcard game if they're lucky and finishing below .500 the other seasons?

I hate teams like the Pats, Chargers, Cowboys, etc. but would be awesome for him to land somewhere like that.

I dunno, I get the feeling that the Chiefs are a team on the upswing. Maybe it's Pioli that makes me trust them more. I think they may be the faster risers of the teams drafting in the top 8, with the other possibility being the 'Skins.

I was a huge Redskins fan before we landed the Titans...so it wouldn't hurt my feelings in the least to see him play in D.C.

There are several teams I hate with a passion. Redskins would be one. Mayo also landed at another. It's tough but I watch Pat games to see how Mayo is doing. I think Berry will be great wherever he goes. Browns, Skins, Raiders, wherever

I still would never wish or hope Berry falls to the Chiefs just because I was an Eagles or Cowboys fan though.

Or especially if the Lions were in the Chiefs spot and were thinking about taking him at 5.
