Lorde - Heroine
Waxahatchee -- Cereulean Salt
Elvis Costello and the Roots

Several other solid ones I'm forgetting. Again, I reserve the right to edit.

Some Ramblings:
Albums that are pure dogtrash:
Kanye - Yeezs (I don't know how a worse album could be made....it's actively bad).

Artist who should quite making music as they are clearly just mailing it in:
Jay-Z

I don't get all the hype for:
Drake
Chvrches

I get some of the hype for:
Daft Punk

I expected more from:
Phoenix
YYYs

And there are various that have gone unmentioned. I'll end up in the 50ish range on # albums I listened to. Though I crammed at the end.

Go!

The eminem album is MMLP2

But for albums I have to go with Daft Punk all around. (and completely disagree with the opinion that yeezus is that bad. It had two top tier songs on it, and then the rest is ****)

The EC/Roots combo was amazing and that album was awesome from start to finish. The deluxe edition has some nice bonus tracks on it as well. They have released a remix album called Wise Up Thought and I've been wanting to get my hands on that for awhile. For me Wise Up Ghost has got to be the #1 album this year.

Kiss- Monster
Stryper- No More Hell To Pay
BlackSabbath-13

You got that right!!

I was never a big Stryper fan back in the day. I hated their glam pop sound and their ridiculous "bumble bee" outfits. However their new album "No More Hell To Pay" is absolutely fantastic! It's definitely up there with Black Sabbath's "13" as one of my favorites of the year!

Yeah some of their early stuff was a little campy but the To Hell with the Devil album was the best till this one
