Alright, the time for discussion is here. Check your homerism at the door or you will get run.

How does everybody here rank the conferences this year?

Just getting it out of the way. It's a fun discussion every year. Especially this year. The SEC doesn't look too hot, the Big Ten was speculated to be at their best in ages this season, and the Pac-10 just went gangbusters this week.

LSU is probably the 4th best team in their division, and they just beat the best Big East team. Big East sucks and ACC suck, that's for sure.

Big 12 might suck a little too. Texas.. eh. OU.. undefeated but eh. Nebraska's legit

As it stands now, its easy to eliminate the ACC, Big 12, and Big East.

Pac 10 is solid, other than Wazzu they dont have any true bottom feeders, which likely puts them ahead of the Big 10.

The top half of the SEC is still impressive in comparison, though.

1. SEC

2. Big 10
3. Pac 10
4. Big XII

5. Everybody else

The SEC has 5 teams in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Auburn, and USC, that can compete and beat any team in the nation on any given night. LSU and Auburn have already taken care of the best the ACC and Big East have to offer.

The Pac and Big 10 are interchangeable in my opinion.

SEC W has Alabama, Arky, Auburn, and LSU.
SEC E has USCjr and UF.

I'd say that the SEC has a better top half than any other conference, but as a whole I wouldn't be so sure.

I can't quite figure out OU. They've looked mediocre against Utah State (won by 7), Air Force (won by 3) and Cincinnati (won by 2). They've played one ranked team and obliterated them. (FSU, won by 30)

Simple Explanation. The ACC sucks. :ermm:

True, but the Big East, and WAC aren't any better.

The only ranked team left on their schedule is Texas, so OU has a shot at running the table. That said, if they keep letting lesser teams play them close, they could slip up.

Old-school trolling. :p

1. SEC
2. Pac-10
3. Big Ten
4. Big XII
5. Mountain West
6. ACC
7. WAC
8. Big East
9. C-USA
10. MAC
11. Sun Belt

That's how I got 'em. Gap between the top two is something I'm not so sure about... Bama is great, obviously, Florida is improving but still not in that upper echelon. Running over Kentucky at home doesn't mean you're a MNC contender. Same goes for Auburn and South Carolina. I suspect the SEC's bowl record will be in the neighborhood of .600.

Boise and Nevada would both cruise through the Big East, and both could win the ACC.
