Just out of curiosity, IF it came down to a coordinator for the HC position who would you like for it to be? Both NFL and NCAA.

I like Morris, I'm not sure if Smart is THAT good or if nicks name has just brought him so much NFL talent that anyone would look good in the same position.

Well my thought process was, Gruden would bring him the same talent

Lebanon, the sheer magnitude of all the pissed off vol fans would destroy the university if that happened, but good choices for OC and DC!:hi:

How so? Just because it is not Gruden? I would think if you had 2 of the best coordinators in all of football, then the who is standing in as head coach would not be as important. I get you can't actually have co head coaches, but give me those 2 guys and George Quarles(or insert about anyone here) and we could win some ball games.

My NFL answer would be too long. As of current coordinators in CFB who call plays: Mazzone and Diaco have done excellent jobs.

Pat Narduzzi is no slouch at Michigan St.

I'd also look to try and steal Mark Dantonio. Give him some of the top recruits in the country like he got at Ohio St and he will field a championship defense. Hire Mark Dantonio and Pat Narduzzi to build a defense, shell out some money for a great OC and you are made in the shade! Dantonio gets 110% out of his players.
