Well after another dissapointing season us Vol fans are littering the internet an radio with our disdain, but despite the overwhelimng negativity we are seeing right now I honestly think we have the best and most supportive fan base!

After 4 losing season Neyland still packs in 90k+ on game day. While I know its not at capacity thats still a huge number. Florida is struggling to get 40k after just one bad season, Vandy is giving away free tickets to get their own fans into the stadium and they still aren't showing up. Not many programs would continue to have the support we have shown over these last 6 or so years.

I know people are pissed out of thier minds with the team right now but actions speak louder than words and you can't support your team any louder than showing up on saturday.

The shatty leadership should send out thank you cards to everyone they've screwed out of their hard earned money over the last 10 years. They sure thank you and everyone else for the blind support..

Yes Tennessee does have some of the best fans in America. The fact anyone still cares proves it..

We absolutely have the dumbest, most short sighted, hyper-reactive fanbase in college football. When most people can't handle witnessing the very thing they predicted in August, then you have a delusional legion of fans.

Yes, expecting to beat Vanderbilt is delusional.

Does anyone know what the fans were chanting last night?

I know the first one I heard was EXTREMELY obvious and they were saying "***** you Franklin!"

The other time was more fast paced and was when Franklin was yelling at the ref's and it sounded like they were saying "Franklin's @$$ is fired up! Franklin's @$$ is fired up!"

Sounds like our fans were taunting him all night lol

As a student, I definitely enjoyed starting and joining in on multiple "F*** you Franklin" chants. Not sure about any others.

Our loyal fans certainly deserve better.

I feel for our seniors. 4 years of this wrapped up in that travesty last night as their final home game.

I feel for the players who had to endure 3 years of DD and this last one with Butch.

They sweated through 4 summers, through 2 a days, through off season training, to thousands of hits, bumps and bruises, hundreds of practices in the summer heat and autumn cold, only to finish up with this train wreck of a game.

Hopefully they have developed the character needed to succeed in what ever life has in store for them and I wish them well.

GO VOLS!

well, you guys can ask for coaching changes every year for all I care. Bob the Cooler Kesling is the albatross here. Haven't won since he started bumbling through games and won't until he's gone. I've had a revelation with a little matrix action and have found the root.
After he introduced Tiny as Antonion Robinson yesterday, then bungled the coin flip as we had no idea who won the tip or who was receiving until Palardy kicked the ball, I knew we were going to lose. We won't win until he is gone. Period.

Around 2007 I got this zit on my butt cheek. Cannot seem to reach back there and squeeze it. I am convinced until I do, the VOLS are doomed. Or your post could be the dumbest thing I have ever read. It's one of the two for sure....

You have convinced me, I don't care for him much anyways.

seems to me you've lost your composure. Let the ire subside and realize it was levity.

But it is the truth anyway. Albatross.

They are 7-4 and have beaten UGA and UF on the road. Not sure if you've noticed, but Franklin is a pretty good coach no matter how much you hate him. And if I recall, most on here thought it would be a tight game, which it was.

Here's the deal. It's not the losses this year. Most everyone understood the W-L record was not going to be good this year. It is the way they have lost. Not being prepared and getting absolutely mauled by the top tier teams. The atrocious in game decisions and play calling that has been made from the beginning of the season at key points in games. I can handle losing but looking unprepared and handing games to opponents because of the coaching staffs inability to make sound in game football decisions is unacceptable.

Maybe just put the record in context? Most are reacting like we just lost to Vandy in Butch's third year while being ranked in the top 10.

This team looks very Dooleyesque. What is troubling is it has come about the latter part of the season when you would think that they would be playing for their lives. I understand the tough parts of the schedule, but Vandy was a winnable game at home with a bowl on the line. Yet, once again the team looks flat.

Reality is a bit.. Third best record in SEC in for the past whatever number of games. Still sucks though.

Even Alabama didn't sell out a couple games this season. Process that.
