Can you tell me more? Where is he, what do you like about him? When I Google him it says he works at Dicks House of Sport
He was the pro at Oak Ridge Country Club before Dick’s hired him away. My son has taken lessons from half a dozen coaches and Glenn is his favorite, by far.
At Dick’s, he has access to something called GEARS Technology, which is where you put on the little sensors and it digitally shows everything about your swing.

Jake Reeves at Fox Den. Used to be at Fairways & Greens. He gets me straightened out when the bad habits creep in.

I’ve actually been in communication with Brad, I think that’s who I’ll be setting up with.

Did lessons with Bo a few years back. Great guy, just not a great experience from a lessons standpoint.
I went to Bo a while back. He helped in some ways. Didn't provide much swing video analysis though which is what I really needed.

I'm a believer in Stack and Tilt which isn't very popular these days. When I venture away from it and try a more conventional swing, my scores suffer greatly (upper 80s or 90s). I shot a 76 recently using this method. Typically shoot in the low 80s. The short game/putting determines whether it's a 70s or 80s score with me most of the time.

I’ve looked up so many YouTube videos on this and I can’t for the life of me understand what the stack and tilt swing is. All you ever find on YouTube is what it’s trying to accomplish, which is basic stuff like low point, power, etc. But like, what is it?

My first lesson with him was really good. Every lesson after that he seemed pretty disinterested, just kind of had me doing random drills without ever really diagnosing any problems.

Super nice guy but I wouldn’t recommend him to friends for lessons.

Bump.

Moving back to East TN in a couple of months. I'm a complete golf novice and have only played a full round 3 times in my life. I want to get decent enough to enjoy a round with friends/business acquaintances without being flat out terrible and ruining the experience. Whats the best way to get access to a range/facilities to practice in West Knoxville/Farragut without spending a fortune?
