Me personally I think the two best BCS champs ever were our 98VOLS and the Miami Hurricane team that won it all.

If those teams played which do you think would win?

Both were LOADED

2001 Miami, but I think 2005 Texas would beat both of teams.

I don't know man. Look at the Defenses of MU&UT.. I don't think they compare. The NFL people on there was crazy.

I will say the Texas game was the best BCS game to watch. great game

1994-1995 Nebraska teams (25-0 back to back national champions) were the best college football teams of all time, IMO. Especially in 1995, I think their smallest margin of victory was two td's or something and they won the national championship 62-24. Obliterated the competition

The Vols were manhandling Nebraska for the first 3 or 4 series until we kept giving them the ball on turnovers.

If all it took was 3 or 4 series to be a good football team we'd have been happy with Dooley and even Sunseri. Big difference between 4 quarters and 4 series. Just sayin

We didn't play Nebraska in 94 or 95 and if we did they would've crushed us. They beat the golden child heisman winner Danny W's Florida like a dog that just crapped on the carpet, the same Florida that stomped us regularly

I still think 95 Nebraska would beat 01 Miami.

That Miami team was the most talented CFB team I've seen, but 95 Nebraska was simply THE best team I've seen. Just a well-oiled machine. As for the 98 Vols, they were a GREAT team, but more of a "team of destiny" type of great. I still think the 01 Vols would beat the 98 Vols straight up 6 out of 10 times if not 7.

Nebraska's offensive line would completely control the game. Don't forget as talented as Miami was they had to hang on for dear life against a Boston College team that was playing without their best player.
