Who, in your opinion, is the best player on a mid-major this year? I've watched Kenneth Faried play and honestly thing he has the defensive ability and intensity to make it to the NBA. Big Ben with a better post up game and more height.

Your thoughts?

I'll be a homer and say D.J. Cooper, PG Ohio. He's about 5'9, 160, even though he's listed 5'11.

20.4 PPG 7.1 APG 5.9 RBG 3.2 SPG

He's so smooth, if you get a chance to see Ohio on TV, he's worth watching alone.

I've watched him play 2 games. Both were the first weekend of the NCAA's last year. He was pretty good.

IDK if UAB qualifies as Mid-Major, but if you get a chance to watch them play, check out Cameron Moore..He is fun to watch...I got to see him play in the MTSU game back in November when he had 15 and 10 in UAB's win..I also watched him when UAB beat Arkansas in OT..He's averaging 19.1 pts and 9.5 rebs per game and if he could hit his FT's, he'd easily be at 20+ ppg..I actually have been impressed with UAB's team overall...They have beaten Ark and Az State (on the road) and only lost by 2 at Georgia...They have a Jan 6game at #1 Duke so I guess I'll see if they are as good as their 8-2 record appears to be...They might give Memphis a run in Conf USA if they get some breaks...
