I saw him at the UT/Kentucky football game a couple of years ago at Neyland. Wind was blowing hard and his weave was definitely the worst for wear. Him and Jimmy Spencer have to have the two worst weaves in Cup history.

Anyway, loved that car when he won at Bristol. Sterling is a good dude.

No doubt. I grew up in Columbia, and knew his dad better than I knew him. Was a real good guy, but was a trip. Coors Light HOT out of the can...That is all he drank. A real gentlemen he was.

I have a buddy who does that with Bud, he'll throw the case in a sunny window. Definitely bring my own beer when I drop by.

Maybe at the time you knew him Coo Coo only drank Coors, but that ain't all he drank.

When I was 16, I became an apprentice meat cutter. We were the only show in town before Saturn hit. He came in all the time, he would impress me with free CASE coupons on Coors Light. SOB said he never drank a beer a cold.

After hanging with him, I believe him.

That was Marlin's Busch car from 1999. Always loved his Coors Light scheme as well.

Also just think how things could have changed if Marlin hadn't had that bad wreck in 2002. JMO he would have won the championship that year and would have radically changed the sport IMO. Stewart wouldn't have won his first championship and Jamie McMurray wouldn't have gotten his chance either.

My mom got me the car maybe 10 years ago. My cousin has a hood that's a little smaller than the actual one. It's pretty sweet though. I'll try to get a pic when I swing by his house next time.

He was wild as a buck from everything I ever heard or read about him. I wouldn't know about the younger/older correlation. :whistling:

A guy I worked with kept Colt 45s in the car hot. We worked outside in the sun all day. He would go out to the car after work(and sometimes during work) and chug a hot Colt 45 or 2 before the drive home. He also drank Mr Boston gin. I tried it one time.(a hot colt 45 and a shot of mr boston). Puked my guts out...
