I just wanted to say best of luck to these young men that we have spent much of the past several months becoming familiar with. I hope they find good individual success with the choices they felt were best for themselves.

I hope we wont become a fan base that turns on these 18 year old kids that are only doing what they feel like is the best for themselves for whatever reason. While it would have been great if they were a Vol, the reality is that they are not, but not because they didnt really like Tennessee, but felt another school was a better fit.

I wish them nothing but success in whatever they do (outside of playing Tennessee of course).

So to all the recruits that chose somewhere else (JC Copeland, Ambles, Stanley, Williams, and others) I hope in 4 years you look back and are happy with where you went.

I hope Ambles gets into a good English as a Second Language course, so his Twitter entries will be intelligible.

Wish we could have kept Copeland. We neede him bad.

I actually tend to disagree. While losing him is not good, he was going to have to transition to a DT. Thats going to be a couple year deal, if we could pick up a top DT next year they could step in and be ready to play right away at close to the same speed as Copeland without having to bulk up and change positions.

i thought that kifkin the sfifty wasnt going to go after players committed to tennessee ,but i figured he would because he is a liar, and has no class he went after ambels soon as he got out of k town then we get glen stanley to commit and then on nsd he signs with usc what a rat .ambels will be like marlon brown was committed to tenn then signed with georgia and played in one game against ut cought 1 or 2 balls then lost a redshirt and probally wishes he had come to ut,ambels will fill that way after next season

We lost him because of Kiffin we got a secondary violation and couldn't contact him only one more time because of Kiffins stupidity

I hate Copeland didn't stay. Ambles may have played the recruiting game for attention but he didn't leave us standing at the alter. Still don't wish bad on them but I do hope USC spends the next 4 years on major probation and UCLA turns into the PAC10 powerhouse. Never thought I would say that but I don't think Oregon will be able to keep recruiting better players year after year over a California team.

I hate seeing what some Georgia fans are saying about Rogers and don't want to be that way - I'll join you in wishing them the best. This is just entertainment for us but will affect their lives - they have every right to change their minds and flip-flop along the way. I also appreciate those that chose and stuck with Tn during a bad time no matter how many stars they have. I think I will be a better fan because of the last 3 weeks because winning and losing doesn't matter to me as much anymore - loyalty and effort and some coaches to be proud of will do. Go Vols.

next year we need to go after dt and ol the most upgrade at linebacker ,and then just try and upgrade in every position possible .in two years if our recruiting continues to be in top 10 or better we will be very good and deep with talent and should be contenders in sec and in ncaa we need to get 3 to 5 def tackles next year and some olinemen guards and centers or tackles that can play middle of line and then some linebacker upgrades.

To the OP:

Classy. I like it.

I hope it permeates.

I'm not gonna point fingers, because saying what you said is tough for me after what Kiffin did a few weeks back. So good on you, my friend.

I think next years class is one of the most crucial.

we are coming off a 15ish class and a 8 to 10 class.

If we can add one more class while addressing the positions of need we can overcome this whole thing and put the train back on the tracks. The 2008 recruiting class destroyed us along with the loss of players upon the Fulmer/x coaching change.

I definately wish the recruits the BEST of luck for their futures..

I definately DO NOT wish Kif an Ogre and the rest of those mercs any luck at all. I am a true believer in the old addage, 'what goes around, comes around'. I've seen it happen to many times not to believe. When you behave the way they do (within the rules??, dishonest, unethical, sleazy) it comes back to bite you in the a$$.. That's pretty much all the breath I intend to waste on them...

Once again, to all the boys that didn't choose UT...

BEST OF LUCK AND GOD BLESS

Judging from the content of the now infamous twitters I don't think one of these young men was the caliber of men we need representing UT. Let him go to USC and hang out with coaches that also have little self respect. We need young men of character to continue the long line of leaders Tenn has sent into the world.
