The plan is to score some tickets off a scalper. But, if that falls thru, where is the best place to watch the game that is close to TBA?

You never know when you're placing all your hopes on a scalper, lol. I used to frequent the strip back in my college days, but everything has changed and I have no idea where to go if I strike out.

I'm not saying it's the best place but if I had a choice to see a game, I'd go to BW3's on the strip. I always like the food/drinks there and the atmosphere.

There will be some people there watching it.

Where exactly is it located? Which end?

It closed 3 or 4 months ago.

Well hell. I was trying to prove you wrong by looking it up and I think you're right! I haven't been down there in about a year. What about the new place on Bearden hill, the Bearden Field House? Or the Beer Market? I'm trying to stay positive.

You can go wrong with Crown and Goose or Jig and Reel in the Old City city either. Even if the crowd sucks, they are pretty decent bars (remember the time of day though)

He's right. It closed its doors the day after the Vandy football game.

decent bar fare, too. Good queso, but mostly......TV's by the bucket full. Can't go wrong with Calhouns, either.
