I asked before which loss we could afford, and looking back, it was the wrong tone for the positivity and trajectory of this team.

This time I am only asking what is the best possible, but realistic scenario you envision or hope for the rest of the season.

My first hope is i don't want to to play any team twice. While i fully believe in this team more often than not that scenario has hurt playoff teams.

Mine:
Beat UGA and clinch Hooker the Heisman
Ole Miss beats Bama and clinches west
We face Ole Miss in the French's SEC mustard bowl and win. Revenging the loss from last year.
UGA faces Ohio state in the playoffs and UGA loses.
We Face Michigan in the Peyton shoulda won the Heisman bowl and blow Harbaugh out.

Then we face Ohio State in the we had to play a red and white team National Championship and shut the door on why Hooker always was the Heisman winner. Even if the douche bags didn't actually vote him in weeks earlier.

Thus revenging every past scorn or insult in the past 2 decades.

And we make a spectacle about the cleats we're gonna wear in the Cleat Bowl against The Ohio State.

Post pics of our cleats all over social media. Ask bowl officials to inspect them well in advance.

Part of my reasoning for this is not just a redemption tour, but genuinely the one team that concerns me most with our play style is Ohio State. I think the team most capable of prepping us for them is Ole Miss. UGA to me is just a more defensive less offensive version of Bama. Less scores same possible outcome. I do also believe if we had to play SEC teams multiple times it plays against our strengths of surprise.

You forgot Clemson they get the Acc title undefeated
1. Ohio state because ESPN wants it that way
2. Tennessee because we earned the #1spot but ESPN does not want use to be #1
3 Clemson because they are undefeated
4 George or Michigan

Ohio beats #4
Tennessee beats Clemson
Ohio vs Tennessee in the championship
Hooker scores 50 points first we win

Leaving us with 3 Heisman runner ups because ESPN intervened in the last 2
Majors, Manning and Hooker

Maybe it’s just me but I think the best possible outcome would be:

Tennessee undefeated in the SEC championship game.

Bama wins out and Tennessee beats them again on a neutral field.

Then Tennessee takes care of either Georgia, a b12 foe or probably Michigan (cause at that point Tennessee would be #1).

Then Tennessee beats Ohio ST who beat Clemson.

Tennessee would have beaten:
#3, #1, #3 or #4 (Bama again), #4, and #2 along with 17, 20, 25, 16–19 (KY)…….that would be insane.

I figured a lot will want to beat Bama twice. I am good with them getting nothing this year and taking some of that shine off.

as much as I'd like to see Ole Miss beat Bama and us face them in the SEC Championship game... IF we get beat by Georgia, it's going to be to our advantage if Bama wins out to make our win look better.

so many scenarios can play out... we can only control so much so let's just go beat Georgia and if we make it to the SEC Championship, no matter who we play and the outcome...we "should" make the playoffs

I personally don’t “want” to play Bama twice……I’d rather see Tennessee beat another team from the west.

I just think that would be the “best possible” outcome. The FPI still thinks Bama beats Tennessee on a neutral field. I think most non Tennessee fans think that. Also Bama would be ranked in the top 4…….not sure Mississippi or whoever else would be.

Beating Bama twice would eliminate all doubt……and most likely be the higher ranked team for Tennessee to beat.

Screw it, let's beat GA and AL twice!!!

Week 9 beat GA, SECCG beat AL again, playoff beat GA.

Lots of SEC Champs have beat the same team twice in a season since the conference was divided into divisions. Let's be the 1st to beat 2 teams twice in a season. It's only a matter of time before it happens again after playoff expansion.

Also if TCU magically goes undefeated they will get a spot. Too much football left to get a clear picture at the moment.

I couldn’t have come up with a better scenario unless it included Saban retiring.

It’s this happens I might rethink believing in the concept of karma.
