who do you think it was and why? looking for unbiasd opinnions here. alot are gona go with stafford im sure, and some tewbow (may be best football player, but i still maintain harvin was the key to that well oiled machine)


im tossing up cuttler and croyle. im leaning 2 cuttler cause he did it with less talent, excluding earl bennett who was amazing. (how did we miss those 2) really can anyone tell me???? snead may not be way far down the list time its said and done. then im kinda on the fence about throwing ainge into the mix but i dont know if that has a leg to stand on because at times he was brillent and at times he looked in another world, atleast last year you could tell it was the whole ship that was skinking and not just JC.

it would be nearly impossible for me to rank a guy as #1 when he never won a title. I believe only 1 player you listed has done that

Are you asking about the best pure passer? Are you talking about the best athlete to play the position? Are you asking about the most successful?

semi agreed, maybe best SEC player. im looking for the best all out QB, not ath. i personaly think tewbow will have his worst season ever without harvin, but ive ben wrong plenty of times.

Tebow could potentially end up as the best player at all time. I think you've gotta go with him easily.

If we are gonna rate this on pure QB skills and success they will have at the next level then i'll say Cutler.

But if it's only about what they've done in the SEC then it's Tebow and it's not even close...possibly 3 SEC titles, 3 National titles, and 2 heisman trophies

I don't know what is worse, the thought that Erik Ainge could even be considered one of the best SEC quarterbacks of the decade, or the pathetic little brain that pieced together all of that gibberish and posted it for the world to see.

As for the discussion for best SEC quarterback this decade, it is Tebow and it isn't even close.

Ainge wasn't even the best QB at UT since 2000. Croyle spent more time in a hospital room than on the field.

If you go by winning % David Greene would get the nod.

Putting Brodie Croyle's name in the discussion is laughable.

David Greene im a youngster so he was the frist georiga QB i ever saw and i hated him when angie and shaffer went to georiga and beat him his senior year and keven burrnett knocked down that hail mary pass at the end it was one of my greatest UT moments in my life but staying on topic:) ill say the best i ever watched and this is by talent and all the skills (tebow no he isnit a passer) dont jump and say your an iddiot jason cambell or jamarcus russel but tebow is the best by stats and rings but im talkin skills nfl talent

Here we go again theisman marino really if you look at it tebow has won a hesmian and 2 NC one he played about 5 snaps a bunch have done that a gator fan told me this when i said manning he replyed and said he sucked in collage and brandon spikes was better than eric berry it was a load of u know wat

look i was just throwing out names, and rasputin ask if i were a 10 year old ??? for some of the responses i would look in the mirror and not bother with a dictonary for the definiton of childish.


as for OUR best QB on winning % id say clausen part 1, but i think ainge would have did as well on the teams he was on, i think it would have to be a guy that has or most certinaly will make the next level. and last time i checked Erik Ainge was a jet, and casey clausen didnt even make it to the regular season with the cheifs. as far as tewbow i dont think he will be an NFL qb and will get sorta exposed this season as just being another above average spread qb without harvin who i give alot of respect to. he was so keyed on other guys like coooper and thompson or murphy who ever, were so wide open cause everyone feard a guy named percy.

few more names to put into condisderation, jason campbell (who i would put a close 2nd behind cutler personaly) and jamarcus russell. Who seemd to get rattled to much in college, i havent followed his NFL carrier that much, cause im a lowely bears fan have ben sence the days of sweetness, got close few years ago i got a little excited but wasent ment to be. but back to russell i just know that ive heard kiffin wasent sold on him and was preasured into taking him at oakland.
