Best tequila?

I found myself drinking tequila a few nights ago and found I liked it much more than when I was younger.

Kinda burned out on vodka and whiskey.

Any favorites out there I should try?

PS...

In before the Tila tequila jokes.

I like Patron Silver. Cabo Wabo, Herradura, and as they guy above mentioned, Don Julio are pretty good too. I reach for tequila before whiskey or vodka these days!

Any haircut....any tattoo....any place....should have ordered Hornitos.

Patron and 1800 silver as well. Give Hornitos a try if you havnt already, good stuff.

The two best tasting I've ever had is Montejima Reposado and Don Julio Anejo.

I always thought Patron was overrated for its price. 1800 tastes just the same to me and its usually 10 to 15 bucks cheaper.

Cabo Wabo, Espolón, and Salza is good for the price.

If you enjoy Whiskey try Jose Cuervo Black Medallion. Its a really good aged sipping Tequila

Clase Azul ruined all other tequilas for me. Hard to find, but really, really, really good. @$75-$150.

I've never been a fan of Patron Silver, but when I first tried Patron Anejo I had some sort of an Tequila awakening. I absolutely loved the woodier, smoother flavor that you get in Anejo's.

I've heard only good things about Avion but I've yet to try it. Maestro Dobel also got very good ratings along with Chinaco Anejo and Herradura anejo.

I like Silver, and Patron is the only liquor I drink anymore.

There is a Silver Tequila made by Kirklands and sold at Costco. 1.75L for $18.99. Stuff is perfect for margaritas

It's sad because the majority of bars stock Patron Silver and label it one of their top shelf tequilas. It's crap and it's not the best thing Patron has to offer anyway. Sauza and 1800 are the same way. Most bars claim the are top shelf when they're really not.

I don't drink liquor at the bar, cause I have a tendency to show people something. Lol
