This thread is almost certainly going to be moved and it is, admittedly, woefully premature. However, best wishes to Peyton for, hopefully, becoming the first quarterback in NFL history to lead two different franchises to Super Bowl championships. The Broncos are definitely on a roll going into the playoffs, riding the crest of an 11-game winning streak. Peyton also has a much better defense at his disposal than he had for much of his career at Indy.

Would he really be the first QB to do that (if he does)? Seems like there has been another to do it, but I could be wrong.

Adrian Peterson ran for 199 yds. today and finished just 9 yds. shy of breaking the all-time NFL single-season NFL rushing record. Will Peyton win an unprecedented fifth NFL MVP award?

Tom Brady will keep that from happening. Pats are the hottest team right now.

Peterson should win the MVP. He was the sole reason his team made the playoffs this year. Not to mention having torn his ACL a year prior and was 9 yards away from breaking the NFL rushing record.

Bingo. Peyton was great but Peterson was even better.

The fact Indy went 2-14 was mostly on the GM for not investing in a capable back up all those years. I don't discredit the Patriots for having a good back up behind Brady.
