Better Finish?

1. Craven/Busch - Darlington 2003. Not only the run to the finish line, but the last two or three laps were great.

2. McMurray/Busch - Daytona 2007. It doesn't get much more intense than that in a choked down engine race at the finish.

3. Edwards/Johnson - Atlanta 2005. I put it ahead of the Earnhardt/Labonte and Harvick/Gordon Atlanta finishes because the guy that won made the pass coming out of the final turn.

4. Earnhardt/Labonte - Atlanta 2000. Labonte stalked him for several laps and made his move on the final lap but came up just short. Win #75 for DE Sr.

5. Harvick/Gordon - Atlanta 2001. Basically the same finish as the 2000 race, just with more emotion attached to it being just the third race after DE Sr.'s death.

6. Harvick/Martin - Daytona 2007. They were side-by-side, but it wasn't as close of a finish as the others. Harvick was ahead by a fender or so at the line. Made more memorable by the huge crash behind them.

You could also put the Johnson/Labonte finish from the 2005 Coke 600 on the list.

07 Daytona 500 wasnt the closest finish, but I think it was the best finish.....Harvick restarted 7th with 2 to go, plus there was the big wreck and all

Have to agree with you on the first two!

I agree...that was friggin' awesome...But you have to put the restrictor plate races in there too....and '07 ranks up there with the best of them....even the 400 finish was good.
