Better Team? OR More Deserving Team? for BCS Title

Is it the better team that should get the nod to the BSC title game or the more deserving team? If the BCS was created to pit the top two teams against each other (forget REMATCH, forget "style" points, forget pre-season rankings, forget everything except for what was accomplished during the course of the entire season...NOT just one lucky game) then IMO it should be Michigan. I will never vote for an SEC team just 'cause they are in the SEC. That line is a bunch of crock. If I vote that way, then at that team's success becomes my team's demise. Michigan dominated the entire season. Florida squeaked by...thus, proving themselves to be a less superior opponent than Michigan. Las Vegas even pitted Michigan and Florida against each other late last night and Florida was an underdog by 6. I am not saying that Las Vegas (the betting scene is the bottom line...it's NOT)!!! But the bellyachers out there that are pulling for Florida don't have a leg to stand on to say that they are the SECOND best team...I know most of y'all will disagree... but I my blood runs deep orange!!! VOL orange!!!

Florida has done more to prove they are the better team.

I hope Michigan suffers at the Big 10's arrogance in not having a Conference championship -- but I fear they won't.

From what I've seen, the Big Ten is interested in trying to add Notre Dame and get divisional play... You have to have that 12th team, and I don't know of any other team in the region good enough to join the Big Ten.

As for the thread... I think Florida is a better team than Michigan. Good teams know how to win close games... And I don't know how Florida has been doing it, but they have.

The NCAA ought to make conference membership mandatory. Will never happen because of ND, though. That program is truly bigger than the game.

Which team is more deserving will be obvious when USC beats Michigan.
