Taylor said in an interview he was trying to get some HS credits completed so he could be an EE. That was in early Dec, haven't seen or heard anything since then.

Think Kiffin is not only pushing for EE for more time in the system but to also go ahead and cement their commitment to focus on other kids and avoid UT getting burned with NSD chicanery?

That's what I would do, at least. Seal the deal ASAP and move on.

This makes it easier on everyone in my mind.

It helps the players adjust to academics and help with early playing time. It helps the coaches evaluate them better and coach them up to be ready for fall camp and contributing. It helps them get in game shape having all year to get in the S&C program. And it helps lock them up and let the coaches put the full court press on players like Dorsey and Dixon!!!:dance2::rock:

Taylor is NOT an EE.
Meline is , so is Miller, Smith, James, and if Willis commits to us he'll be here ASAP.

Palardy is not.

Looks OK except:

1) IIRC somebody in Meline thread said he was EE "subject to being cleared". Don't know if this is true.

2) I thought STA didn't allow early graduation, which would leave out Palardy.

3) BW has to re-commit, of course. We will know Sat.

4) I didn't know that Taylor is an EE candidate. Thought he was going to visit ND & decide by NSD.

For curiousity sake, how many UF recruits are EE? I'm too much of a bum to google it so if one of you guys get bored, hook me up with that info.

Looking forward to the 2011 class; do you guys think that our staff is trying to persuade recruits to get their academics in order, so they can be EE's?

IMO, its the most effective method of building great classes and getting results sooner from Freshman and Sophomores.

well there's still a little conflicting information when Dunkley and McFarland will enroll and whether Van will indeed jump to WVU or enroll at UF in the summer but thanks.

Florida and Texas do tend to lead the nation in early enrolling true freshman every year.

Bama has just as many. TN could possibly have as many as well. It is becoming a growing trend. I think you will see more and more kids start to set it up to happen this way.

no doubt it's a growing trend but notice I said early enrolling true freshmen. I wasn't referring to grayshirts, JUCOs and transfers.

this may have been mentioned in other threads and I have missed it, but do the EE's count on the current years recruiting since we had some spots left the last class or do they count on the upcoming class? It seems I have seen this topic on here months ago, however I haven't seen anything on this as of late.
