Re the shooting of Blake, it is reported.

“I think we should let the judicial system work its way,” Biden told reporters in Wilmington, Delaware, following a speech about his plan to reopen schools during the coronavirus pandemic. “I do think there's a minimum and they need to be charged.”

No. I mean, the first part of the quote is partially correct. Let the investigation and the judicial system do their thing and get all the facts. But the second statement, that there should be charges, is wrong and I disagree with Biden on that. By definition the decision of charges is a function of the judicial system going through its process.

Just as I am calling out Trump for basing his statements on appeasing his base, I am going to do the same for Biden because that is clearly what he did there.

I think you have to be nuts or lying to make the case that the officers should be charged, considering the details that are out there now.

Opining publicly about wanting someone to be arrested is generally a bad look. It was bad when Trump did it with Hillary. It's worse when celebrities and politicians are pushing for just regular everyday cops to be arrested.

Correct! It is called due process.

Quick someone check on LG. He's obviously been kidnapped and someone is posting on his account.

Who are you and what have you done to LG? Oh who cares welcome to VolNation and leave his damn avi alone!

And I think we agree even on the first part. It isn’t up to the judicial system initially it’s up to law enforcement investigating. Then if charges are made it goes to the judicial system. If that was your intent I agree.

This is classic double speak from a seasoned politician. I understand what you're getting at, LG. It would be great if their words were direct and unambiguous. But you don't have a long career by approaching issues with clear, decisive insight. The ability to go back and highlight one moment compared to another in a speech is very valuable as attitudes shift over time.

People. Calm down.

You do know who LG represents for a living, don't you?

I agree with him in this case, too.

Now let's all riot because a police officer shot a man with a gun in DC yesterday. Any death, any circumstance, Facts Don't Matter.

Person who wrote that is so fired
I don't think so. For every one of these shootings or deaths in custody the first thing Benjamin Crump (who must have a Gulfstream on standby) demands is the officers be charged with murder/attempted murder and fired. Biden is simply speaking the BLM language. He won't be held accountable for that. The mopes at the DC precinct last night demanding the police release the body cam footage don't understand that the victim's family has a right to refuse to make it public and the cops can't do anything until the family says yes or no.

This is the first time I have ever seen you proactively go after a Dem. Usually it takes a good bit of you getting called out to trigger this. Well done.

And I generally agree. Justice works both ways, victim and the accused.

LG still biden isn't communist enough for his party. Biden is still a 70s, 80s liberal. Not a marxist like most of his party.

In the good ol' days, presidents (and presidential candidates) wouldn't opine on ongoing criminal investigations and litigations.

Let's not forget that classic quote "The police acted stupidly" or this other one "If I had a son"

How inflammatory can you get! I mean "If I had a son, he'd look like Trayvon Martin." Really!?!? I mean them there are fightin' words. Just a kick in the gut to every god-fearing white man.

Still commenting on a court case, isn't that what you claimed he didn't do, or did you forget because your undies got so twisted up?
