Biden admin considering shutting Michigan pipeline

If memory serves, there's more to it than what's being reported. I believe they have some safety issues that have to be completed prior to that line being considered "safe."

I do agree it's a suitably bad time for a shutdown, but apparently that pipeline sits in an area that needs additional safety factors.

My understanding is that there are 2 underwater pipes in the Straits of Mackinac that have been there since the 50s. The company made some kind of unapproved alterations over the years and allegedly there are maintenance issues.

Biden realized that he alone has the ability to produce enough gas to fuel every car in America for the next 5 years. He will have to tackle the sudden increase in diapers affecting land fills though.

Well he certainly is personally trying. He apparently ripped a very loud fart in front of everyone at the climate summit. Guess he approves of methane.

AMAZIN. What else can this twits handlers do to cripple the American people?
They'll do as much harm as the people allow them to get away with. Before covid, I would've thought it'd never get to this point, but after seeing people react to the pandemic, I've lost any remaining faith I had in people.

It doesn’t matter what the reason is that they are considering shutting it down , if they shut any pipeline down right now , it will send fuel prices through the roof .

Probably will anyway. The industry often reacts to possibilities. I remember there was a spike several years back because a leader of one country was considering invading another country. It never happened but the gas spiked just off the possibility and didn’t come down for a very long time.
